Stable pay—not a stable job. Make sure you understand the difference!

1. Benefits are reduced depending on the manager’s mood. During the interview, they said meals were provided as a benefit, but on the third day of work they said it was no longer available because nobody else was being provided meals, so it was removed for the sake of fairness.

2. The owner’s son is in charge of the company and runs everything chaotically. He can be late to work almost every day; sometimes he does not show up until two or three in the afternoon, says a few words, and then goes home to sleep. When he is in a bad mood, he can fire employees at will—after all, he is not paying the severance himself.

3. Aside from the company’s northern-region sales manager, who worked his way up through his own efforts, many of the other managers are either connected hires or shameless flatterers. There are very few managers who are genuinely capable. More often than not, the few managers who have it the hardest are the ones who are actually competent—in other words, the stronger your ability, the worse your job is.
