Stable work
The company has been established for a long time
You can negotiate your own salary. The company has been short-staffed for a long time, so you can ask for a higher salary—don’t be shy.
A diverse range of products
1. There are no established procedures. Whenever the supervisor has nothing to do, they like to call meetings, but they do not adopt anything discussed in the meetings and insist on doing things entirely according to their own ideas. When problems arise, they like to make subordinates take responsibility.
2. You need to firmly secure your own territory. Otherwise, when the supervisor sees that development is going well, they will come and take over the territory themselves, take the cases, and assign them to the salespeople they favor. They then take credit with the company. The key point is that when problems arise, they still push the blame onto subordinates.
3. Do not assume something is true just because you hear it from the supervisor or from colleagues during handover. The people most likely to cause trouble are your own colleagues; they may deceive new employees into cleaning up their messes.
4. The supervisor likes to say, “If there are any problems, we can discuss them, and everyone should support one another.” But when business is doing very well and you need mutual support, the only person expected to support the supervisor is you. The supervisor will reply that you should not push everything onto them.
5. If an assistant wants to resign, they can stop doing virtually anything. If goods cannot be shipped, the sales staff are told to figure it out themselves; if too few goods are stocked, that is also treated as the sales staff’s problem.
6. There are no company vehicles, only a small transportation allowance and fuel subsidy. Sales staff have to carry and transport goods themselves and take care of the equipment, so using it for personal purposes is virtually impossible.
