Almost no advantages
The entire company shows extreme disrespect for people. The Korean managers have made no effort to understand the Taiwanese market, and everything is even more authoritarian than the Communist Party. When the Korean top executives come to Taiwan, they make everything sound wonderful, but the entire company is as hypocritical as can be. It is hard not to lose respect for Korea because of this. The whole organization is steeped in an extremely arrogant “Great Korea” mentality, constantly saying, “If Korea can do it, why can’t Taiwan?”
The systems are also extremely chaotic. Even an assistant has to apply through the HR department at the Korean headquarters. The Taiwan general manager is basically a yes-man for the Korean top executives—without brains, logic, or backbone, but very good at making grand promises. The company is particularly fond of deceiving young people with no work experience into joining.
If anyone can understand Korean, they can search for FURSYS (the parent company behind Eilun) on Korean company-review websites. Even a simple translation is enough to understand how serious the company’s problems are and how arrogant the Koreans are.
