歐易亞科技股份有限公司
Pros

1. Convenient location, right by Guting MRT Station, next to UFO Radio, with a great view. Though who knows how long it will last.

Cons

1. The boss is actually very stingy, but loves to pretend to be generous. The company wears the skin of a startup but is actually extremely traditional. He can't withstand challenges or accept any opinions that differ from his own, and is extremely subjective. If you're an independently minded person who thinks for yourself and can distinguish right from wrong, I suggest you keep looking. As soon as you disagree with him once, his next KPI is to get rid of you.

The boss is also quite superstitious, so if you don't believe in strange and supernatural things, please PASS on this one.

2. The director needs no further explanation. As the person second only to the boss and above everyone else in the company, she frequently dresses in ways that make people very uncomfortable when visiting clients. I don't know whether she strategically thinks that dressing revealingly will please clients, but as a subordinate in the same industry, it is very nerve-racking. Her leadership skills are even more astonishing. She has to call a meeting for everything, but often hasn't done the necessary preparation beforehand. As a result, meetings that should be for discussing conclusions turn into sessions where we first have to accompany the princess while she reviews the materials. A meeting that could finish within an hour gets dragged on for two or three hours or more, and may still have no conclusion. External meetings are the same: she doesn't prepare, likes pointless background recaps and random additions to draw attention to herself, and repeats what her subordinates did as if that means she did it. She doesn't do what she should, grabs what she shouldn't, and is so lacking in accountability that she often sends and then retracts even a single LINE message, retracts it and sends it again, then retracts it again—hesitant and incoherent. Still, I suggest not fighting with her, because the boss loves her.

3. As time goes by, working here can easily leave you emotionally and physically exhausted. The work itself is highly challenging, and you have to deal with many things that were not properly handled before (also known as messes). Later, you'll discover that you also have to devote a great deal of energy to appeasing and accommodating the director and the boss. While some of your time is wasted negotiating with those two, you also have to apologize to clients on their behalf and deal with all kinds of situations that require bowing and scraping. Gradually, you stop understanding who you're working so hard for and why.

4. Simply put, the boss is a king in new clothes who only wants to hear what he wants to hear; the director often dreams that she's great when she actually isn't, has no responsibility or accountability, and uses her limited abilities to engage in palace intrigues against subordinates. A major reason for the high employee turnover is that this director actually can't do anything, but is afraid of being exposed. So, when the time comes, she habitually makes subordinates take the blame. In any case, once someone leaves and a newcomer arrives, she can blame her own inaction on staff turnover and claim that she needs time to train the new hire.

It's always because the new hires are bad and disobedient, leaving her exhausted and pitiful.

According to statistics, during her tenure she has probably replaced nearly an entire company platoon's worth of people, yet the boss has never once wondered whether, when one person is incompatible with forty or fifty people, that one person might be the problem.

Clearly, it's true love.

But that true love will never be you—the person reading this and considering whether to join the company.
