To avoid a vacancy caused by an employee suddenly resigning, the company hired multiple employees for the same department at the same time, even though it had originally planned to eliminate one of them. In the end, the employee who was laid off was dismissed with a flimsy excuse. However, the company turns a blind eye to redundant staff in frontline departments who should be laid off or otherwise dealt with. Back-office units have no standing in this company.
