I interviewed for an editing specialist position around early February, just before the Lunar New Year. Since I am a foreigner, I needed a work permit.
Before the interview, I asked whether the company could help arrange the work permit, and only then went to the interview.
I checked and confirmed that the company was eligible to apply for a work permit.
The interview lasted approximately half an hour.
I had quite a few questions I wanted to understand.
I had seen online reviews mentioning overtime, but those reviews were from several years ago.
Currently, the company does not have much overtime.
I mainly wanted to build up my editing skills and experience.
Personally, I am not concerned about working overtime; I am more interested in growing through the work.
The interviewer was quite friendly. In the end, we chatted until 5:30 p.m., which was exactly quitting time.
Everyone also gradually left the office.
Overall, the environment looked spacious—a small, lean office setting.
I would have liked to understand the work details more thoroughly,
but perhaps because I had not joined the company yet, what we discussed was mostly at a broad, general level.
If I have the opportunity to be hired in the future, I will share more with everyone~
