Pros

The bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara, practicing the profound Prajñāpāramitā for a long time, saw that all five aggregates are empty and thus crossed beyond all suffering. Form is empty; emptiness is not different from form. Form is emptiness; emptiness is form. You should understand this. So it is. All phenomena have the characteristic of emptiness: unborn, undefiled, neither pure nor impure, neither increasing nor decreasing. Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, nothing to know; no eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no form, sound, smell, taste, touch, or mental object; no realm of sight and so on, nor a realm of consciousness. There is no ignorance, nor extinction of ignorance. Therefore there is no aging or death, nor extinction of aging and death. There is no suffering, no origin, no cessation, no path; no wisdom and no attainment. There is nothing to attain. Bodhi is here, according to the Prajñāpāramitā. There is no heart, no cause, and no fear. Stand far away from inverted dreams. This is supreme nirvana. The buddhas of the three times, according to the Prajñāpāramitā, attain unsurpassed, complete awakening. I know that the Prajñāpāramitā is supreme. It is the great mantra, the great mantra, the utmost mantra, the mantra without equal, capable of relieving all suffering. It is true. Therefore, let the Prajñāpāramitā mantra be recited: “Gate gate pāragate pārasaṃgate bodhi svāhā.”
