Calls itself a startup, but it doesn’t really feel like one.

1. The interview process was very strange. The person I interviewed with the first time was not the manager of the department I would be joining; instead, they assigned an engineer from another department, which felt like they were just going through the motions with the candidate.

2. During the second interview, the manager explained what responsibilities I would have if I joined and said they hoped I could come in and help handle things.

3. HR also attended the second interview. They didn’t seem to have much experience and wanted to end the interview as quickly as possible.

4. A few days later, I was notified that I needed to do a third interview. I wondered why they couldn’t just have everyone attend at once. Altogether, the three interviews took nearly a month.

5. I don’t know what was wrong with the manager in the third interview. They emphasized their high level of education, nitpicked technical questions, and then started chatting about things unrelated to the job.

6. Halfway through the conversation, the manager even had to stop and deal with other matters. Weren’t they supposed to set aside time for the interview? It was extremely disrespectful. They were incredibly high-handed.
