Pros

Punctual working hours

Cons

I was hired as an assembly operator at the Dachun plant—the one where I interviewed. I don’t know the situation on the other lines; I’m only sharing what I experienced, for reference.

1. If you are assigned to the right side of Line A, Operations 3–6, congratulations—you’ve landed a terrible assignment. One person is responsible for four tasks, three of which require considerable skill. You need a strong grip, very dexterous hands, and good speed; the steps are also numerous and extremely troublesome. Everyone there says it is the easiest station, so don’t believe them.

2. I reported to work on January 15, but I wasn’t called to the line for training until the afternoon of January 17. Then I encountered a Ms. Chen who was extremely impatient when teaching, spoke harshly and loudly, and was aggressive. Yes, I’m not smart, but I still shouldn’t have been yelled at like that. Who would normally carry a pipe wrench around? Also, not everyone has strong hand and wrist strength. I’m not being picky about the job; the process design really has serious problems, and there isn’t much patience for newcomers.

3. Here comes the funniest part: I had only worked at that station for two days when my supervisor decided I was unsuitable and told me to leave. At first, they even asked me to sign a resignation form and said I should resign voluntarily. If I hadn’t pointed out that the Labor Standards Act does not provide for such a probationary period, and insisted on not signing the resignation form and being dismissed involuntarily, I wouldn’t have been allowed to leave. Reluctantly, accounting could only issue an involuntary separation document. Overall, my work experience was very poor.
