At first, I also thought the company environment was good, but the longer I stayed, the more problems I found.
1. Cameras have been installed in the office area—if you don't believe me, look up and check (now that this has been exposed, will they take them down? Haha). Senior management monitors and listens in on your every word and action whenever they feel like it, which is a serious invasion of privacy.
2. No overtime pay—if you're kept behind for a meeting until seven or eight in the evening, you can't apply for overtime because you were merely listening to the boss vent emotionally and produced no tangible output ☺️
Even if you work overtime for work-related reasons, you will only receive compensatory leave. If you go hungry while listening to the boss vent, that's your problem; he won't care about you.
3. Employees are treated as disposable as chopsticks. Apart from senior management, the longest-serving employee in the company has only been there for three years. No designer has lasted more than half a year; some see that things are not right and leave after only a few days. If you want to challenge yourself to see whether you can stay for more than six months, you're welcome to join the competition.
4. Actually, though, the company benefits are pretty good. A few regulars often smoke on the first floor for 20–30 minutes, three or four times a day, making working life quite leisurely.
