Basically, this company is not a technology company at all. From beginning to end, it is an agency that deceives consumers, importing cheap, low-quality products from mainland China—some of them close to their expiration dates—and selling them to consumers and various platforms (POYA, momo, Coupang, and other department stores). As for how employees are treated, they put on a hypocritical show of concern, telling us to take a break while simultaneously pressuring us to ship orders as if our lives depended on it. There was food available, but no time to eat it. The boss's attitude was unpredictable. He expected you to obey his every command and did not allow you any room for independent thought. What they wanted there were slaves who followed orders, not talented employees. That is why you would see them constantly hiring. No one was willing to struggle at the company for such meager pay. The boss said he wanted you to come and learn things, but his idea of learning was merely showing you photos from international conferences he had attended in the past, or talking about his past hardships. How is that supposed to count as learning? Beforehand, the boss would even warn you that he was sometimes just short-tempered. But that was not the case—he was fucking out of his mind, and it was clearly far beyond the scope of simply being short-tempered. I could completely sue him for personal insults and defamation and demand severance pay. Another point is that the company had a very obvious unwritten rule: whenever goods had to be moved, men were required to do it, as if women were incapable of carrying anything. Any physical work was dumped on the men as though that were only natural. Overtime was also the norm. We worked overtime to some extent almost every day. I did not consider that itself to be much of a problem, but after working overtime, we were still required to stay and clean the workplace, taking up our personal time. Not only that, one day the boss said that if I could not finish the assigned tasks within the remaining three minutes, he would not pay overtime, which amounted to making me stay and work overtime without paying me for it. This very clearly violated the law to a significant extent. Finally, I hope no one will sacrifice themselves for this company or suffer such unfair treatment.
