The recruitment poster was beautifully designed.
I saw on 104 and had a friend message me on LINE saying that they have a COBOL training program where you can receive NT$30,000 per month during training. However, the screening process is very opaque. I wasn’t selected previously, and only after asking a friend to inquire did they say they were looking for candidates under 30. Isn’t that illegal? They didn’t disclose this in advance either. I also suggest that everyone not learn COBOL; after looking at 104, the salaries are really low. It feels like they just want people to go in as tool users to maintain systems and earn headcount fees or something = = It’s certainly not the case that they are willing to train anyone interested in the financial industry. I hope they can make the selection process open and transparent; otherwise, I feel it’s a bit of a waste of time going back and forth, especially since I was thinking of trying to change careers.
