2. The company does not provide laptops, and basically does not have a VPN either, so no one will generally bother you after you get home.

3. The company’s business mainly involves corporate websites for the machinery industry. Compared with information companies that work on e-commerce sites and constantly customize products without standard offerings, it is much easier.

4. The office is still quite nice.

5. You can speak very directly when giving presentations or attending meetings with your supervisor.

2. I only found out after joining that I had been brought in to take someone else’s place.

3. The team lacks cohesion. There also wasn’t much training or an onboarding process for new hires, so you have to make an effort to adapt on your own.

Just putting this out there to gauge the situation—there are still many normal people there, the colleagues are nice, and the supervisor does not constantly engage in PUA. As long as you deliver good results, that’s all that matters.
