力譔堂整合行銷股份有限公司
Pros

1. The owner, Ouyang Ying-Hua, and the outward-facing sugar-coated packaging of her companies (Li Zhuan Tang, Zhong Yun, and Left Bank Life Design) are very polished. Outsiders all give this company extremely high evaluations.

2. They are very willing to give fresh “livers” opportunities to “work” and “learn”—cheap and useful. Yay, yay, yay.

3. If you like a flexible, dynamic work environment rather than simply clocking in and out, the Taitung position is a great challenge.

4. You can experience hell without physically dying first. It effectively reminds and advises anyone considering joining that they should keep their language clean and interact respectfully with others; otherwise, like the owner, they will be heavily criticized by their own employees.

Cons

The main text begins:

The owner is someone who does everything “personally” but is also “prone to forgetting.” After you often follow the previous instructions, you may receive “strict concern” because your way of doing things is supposedly wrong. She appears willing to communicate, but in practice, if things do not go her way, or if she is emotional about other matters at the time, you will receive “strict care.” We are all members of society, especially those working in planning-related roles, so of course we understand that the boundary between work and personal time is not always easy to define. But that does not mean she can send messages or call at ten or eleven at night to ask about non-urgent matters, or call to interrogate you on the rare days off you finally get. Oh, and unless you are extraordinarily lucky enough to come in and directly execute a new project, almost everything is handed over to the next unlucky person without any proper transition. From administrative tasks to project content, no one can tell you how to do anything. You can only learn while being scolded and rushing to get up to speed, and naturally, anything you do poorly will continue to receive “attention.” In addition, the standards are extremely inconsistent. If you have the “right” gender, the honeymoon period will be longer. For example, with tasks following the same SOP, every colleague can handle them directly, while only you need to wait for special approval from a supervisor/the owner; or everyone else can handle things in the A-B-C order, but only you are subjected to nitpicking and forced to follow A-B1-B2-C1-C2-C3. Overall, this makes you feel targeted and distrusted. More seriously, the owner may say that you are “paying lip service while acting otherwise...”

I also need to mention that when I first joined, the company was experiencing a staffing gap (meaning there were no existing employees and no other newcomers). I was the only person in the entire office, so I had to figure everything out myself, get scolded myself, and work overtime myself. I would like to ask: what extraordinary merit does a new employee have to work nearly sixty hours of overtime in their first month? Was I being valued too highly...? Moreover, only twenty hours of overtime can be exchanged for overtime pay (and I spent that overtime pay on medical treatment); the rest becomes compensatory leave that you can only see on the day you resign, because under normal circumstances you have neither the time nor the inclination to take it. Another point is that employees are very often asked to advance payments, but reimbursement is delayed for more than one to two months. Then, when it comes to payments owed to vendors, employees are asked whether payment can be postponed. Anyone with eyes can tell what this company’s cash-flow situation is like...

Simply put, the owner of this company does not know how to speak respectfully to people, thinks she is impressive, and passes along incorrect information. This “brilliant” owner has far too many sarcastic remarks. All you good “livers” out there are welcome to come here to train yourselves and temper both body and mind!
