【They ghosted me for the interview—think twice before applying】

A publicly listed company actually stood me up for an interview, and after searching online, I found that I’m not the only job seeker who has suffered the same treatment.

After the first interview, they told me that I would have a second interview with Director Kuo Li-ching on August 7. However, they stood me up on August 7, causing me to waste a day of annual leave. The integrity of this company is questionable; think twice before applying.

Only after I filed a complaint with the 104 job-search website did the company send an email, casually stating: “We’re sorry that we do not have a position that meets your criteria.” Then why did you invite me to a first interview? They didn’t even offer a word of apology, as if standing someone up for an interview were perfectly normal.

Their lack of integrity and refusal to admit fault are utterly unacceptable! I’m very glad I didn’t join the company!
