Pros

The interviewer said they need someone who is willing to learn because the job duties are not fixed and may change. At first, the person will only do simple support work, and more responsibilities will gradually be added. They hope to train the person to work independently.

The company culture they are currently promoting is accountability, so there is no set schedule for performance reviews or salary increases.

Finally, the interviewer clearly stated that they would continue interviewing other candidates. They asked whether I was interested in the job; if so, they would keep my application on hold and make a final selection after evaluating all candidates. Even unsuccessful applicants would be notified with a thank-you letter.

Cons

Applied for the accounting assistant position.

After arriving at the company, applicants are required to fill out the company’s résumé form and take the online DAVI behavioral prediction assessment.

The salary is NT$28,000. After completing the three-month probationary period, there will be another salary adjustment. This amount includes the perfect-attendance bonus and meal allowance. However, they did not clearly explain how much would be deducted for not having perfect attendance. If the issue is lateness, there is a set number of minutes, and the perfect-attendance bonus is only deducted after exceeding that threshold.

There is no fixed salary-increase system. The company will adjust salaries only in response to broader conditions, such as rising prices. Regular salary adjustments are based on individual ability and approved by the supervisor, but they did not specify how often performance reviews would take place.

Overtime is infrequent, but overtime pay is provided when overtime is required.

An inventory count is conducted once a year. Since the company is still expanding, this may increase to twice a year if it goes public. Because the company mainly operates on a B2C basis, the accounting work is relatively dynamic.
