After the boss signed the vendor quotation, he asked whether you had a budget to carry it out (the company did not even have a budgeting system). Two months after you left the company, Finance asked when payment was due for the order (which had never actually been placed).
They said they were going public, but there were no internal-control documents at all. The consultants they hired were about on the same level as the people guarding the entrance. There has been no follow-up since.
When it is time to eat, you have meetings with the boss and get full just listening to him rant while eating. It saves you a meal.
The company has a manager surnamed Yang who often calls you into meetings while he is eating—whether rice or noodles. The only downside is that they do not provide us with tissues to wipe our faces.
The company has someone who calls himself the CFO (assigned by a company in which another company holds a stake). He does not understand anything, and his eyes even look as though he has had a stroke. All day long, he says that other people are incompetent and far too poor. Even the senior finance manager (with more than five years of experience) left in 2023.
