No one takes the initiative to train new employees. In that case, they shouldn’t have opened this position in the first place~

It’s laughable. During the interview, the store manager even said: “I’m really curious where young people go after graduating these days. Why are so few people coming for interviews? We’re great here~ There’s air conditioning, and when there are no customers, you’re pretty free.” Your job opening is so damn terrible that it’s a complete waste of job seekers’ time. When I reported to the store, they told me to look over the products and memorize their locations by myself, and that was it. So, yeah, I wandered around the store aimlessly for 11 hours, and no one was willing to train the new employee. The daily working time was as long as 11 hours. At first, they said there would be two breaks per day, 40 minutes each, so the working hours would be 11 - 1.5 = 9.5 hours per day. But it turned out to be a joke. There is an unwritten rule about break times: basically, everyone leaves the break room after finishing their food. Even worse, if you don’t eat, it means you give up that break period. Since working hours stretch toward noon, people basically eat before heading out. Damn, you only get to eat one meal a day. Basically, you work 11 hours a day, and they only calculate 1.5 hours of overtime pay for you. At large stores, you can haul goods until you become an idiot. If you want to experience that, go ahead.

And that’s not all. Damn, they treat new employees like TSMC stock—as if leaving them alone will make them rise. They expect new employees to become capable without any training. After working five days, you might barely get the chance to check out four times. The system is quite different from those outside, yet they ask, “You’ve been here for five days—why aren’t you familiar with checking out yet?” Damn, is the number of days you’ve been here the point? I’ve barely handled the checkout process a few times; how the hell am I supposed to be familiar with it?

You work 11 hours a day. When there are no customers, they would rather stare blankly or scroll on their phones than teach the new employee. Then, suddenly, as if possessed, they tell you to memorize all the TV brands and models in the store, along with each brand’s features and differences, and then test you on them. Fucking idiots. Either they don’t teach you at all, or they dump a whole pile of information on you at once. All they do is tell new employees to flip through the catalog. As if flipping through a catalog is enough to make sales. Why the hell did I even come to E-Life Mall?
