Pros

1. The workload for logistics, general affairs, procurement, and administrative tasks is huge. Even after reporting it to the company, they still won’t hire more people, giving you the opportunity to learn more, so you can learn many things 😉! Great job!

2. They are often inconsistent with vendors and employees (for example, they say at first that they’ll find a way to help employees, but then nothing comes of it, or they negotiate prices with a bunch of vendors before saying they won’t proceed, leaving frontline employees to get chewed out by the vendors). This allows employees to train their ability to handle unexpected situations. Great~

3. They only ask employees to negotiate prices with vendors after asking the vendors to complete the work or repairs, training frontline employees’ ability to respond on the spot. Great.

4. They verbally promise employees that they’ll seek bonuses or salary adjustments, performance bonuses, and so on for covering for colleagues who are injured or taking extended leave, but then nothing comes of it anyway—training employees’ ability to adjust their own emotions. Great job.

4. Finally, here’s a stress test featuring the final straw that breaks the employee:

What happens if you get injured outside of work? Too bad for you. After I was injured in a car accident, my workload became so heavy that it had to be divided among three or four departments for coverage. A long time ago, I had already told senior management that I needed an assistant or backup person, and asked what would happen if I had to take extended leave without anyone to cover for me. There was absolutely no follow-up.

The company expanded, but the internal-service General Affairs and Procurement Department still won’t hire anyone. Do they think the workload won’t increase? 🙂

After the car accident, the doctor’s certificate clearly stated that I needed three months of rest after surgery. During my recovery, all they cared about was when exactly I was coming back. The managers and colleagues from other departments were actually the ones who sincerely showed concern and offered their support ☺️

I coordinated with my supervisor and hoped they could help me work remotely from home on some paperwork, which would also reduce the pressure on the people covering for me, but I was directly refused.

In less than two months, they demanded that I return to hand over my work, saying that I had no leave left and that the company wasn’t going to grant me a leave of absence. “Please don’t occupy the position, okay? We’re hiring someone now ^_^ And everyone covering your work has it really tough! Don’t cause trouble for your supervisor and the company, okay~~ The company has no obligation to take care of you. Either come back to work or resign and get lost, okay, thanks~” (They won’t lay you off either, because they don’t want to pay severance 😌)

They didn’t proactively deal with the excessive workload before; they only told people that if they couldn’t finish, they could apply for overtime. If you don’t work overtime, you might even be blacklisted.

In the end, once something happened, they blamed the employee for getting injured, causing the workload of the other people covering for them to explode. It’s really great how they push the responsibility onto the employee 👍 Training employees to resist interpersonal pressure and emotional blackmail. Great job!

They even said that not granting leave of absence might be because your work performance or efficiency wasn’t recognized by your supervisor. But if the workload is huge and you’re still expected to produce high-quality work, while the salary they offer is laughable…

Conclusion: If you’re not doing well, we won’t tell you, and we don’t intend to lay you off either—we’ll just bring it up at this time to shut you up 👍

When HR says these inhumane things, even the senior managers who normally seem to look after you will just sit quietly nearby and listen as you’re exploited.

This company gave me a firsthand lesson in the realities of society ^_^

The way they handled it was truly excellent! A happy company 👍 Great job.

For friends who want to experience the cruelty of reality, come on in and give it a try 👍

Cons

Great job 👍
