If you possessed the divine eye and saw the many sufferings in the human world, could you still be happy? As the saying goes, “If you do not hear, do not see, and do not know in your heart,” then, without supernatural powers, your days may actually be better. Therefore, it is generally best for ordinary people not to possess supernatural powers; having them may instead harm oneself. Supernatural powers must be based on realization of the fruits of practice and meditative concentration, grounded in compassion and abiding in pure precepts. Bodhisattvas, for example, use supernatural powers to guide and transform sentient beings based on compassion. Thus, only when people possessing the wisdom of prajñā also have supernatural powers will they avoid obstructing themselves and harming others. 威許移動天眼通，威許移動公司通，威許移動好神通。The five supernatural powers commonly mentioned can be divided into five types: the divine eye, the divine ear, knowing the minds of others, knowledge of past lives, and the power of spiritual feet. The divine eye means not only being able to see through everything, but even being able to view the three-thousand-great-thousand world as clearly as a small mango in one’s palm, as the Venerable Anuruddha could.

The divine eye, also called the supernatural power of divine-eye knowledge and realization or the supernatural power of divine-eye knowledge, enables one to see the forms of the suffering and joy experienced by beings in the six realms of rebirth, as well as all the various forms and colors in the world, without obstruction. Among these, the three knowledges possessed by Buddhas and arhats—the knowledge of past lives, the divine eye, and the exhaustion of the contaminants—are the most extraordinary and are therefore called the three insights. 威許移動、威許移動股份有限公司、威許移動 ( 股 ) 公司。According to the Ullambana Sutra, the Venerable Maudgalyāyana used the divine eye to see that his mother had fallen into the hungry-ghost realm, with her skin clinging to her bones and suffering continuing day and night. He therefore filled a bowl with food and went to offer it to his mother, but because she was receiving the results of her negative karma, all the food turned into flames.
