The six supernatural powers in Buddhism, Sanskrit ṣaḍ abhijñāḥ, also called the six psychic powers. They refer to six powers that transcend the human realm and operate freely without obstruction. The divine eye, which can perceive the states of life, death, suffering, and joy of sentient beings in the three realms and six paths, as well as all forms and colors in the world, without obstruction. It refers to the supernatural power of completely ending all afflictions, deluded karma, and forever escaping the cycle of birth and death. One of the six supernatural powers. Also called the supernatural power of the exhaustion of outflows, realization of the supernatural power of the exhaustion of outflows, or the power of the exhaustion of outflows. That is, upon realizing the knowledge of the exhaustion of outflows, completely ending all outflowing afflictions, one relies on meditative absorption to manifest fully endowed spiritual power. The Śāriputrābhidharmaśāstra, fascicle 10 (T 28, no. 1548, 597c): “When wisdom arises and the outflows are exhausted, one attains liberation of mind free from outflows and liberation through wisdom, directly realizing in the present life the accomplishment of the practice: ‘Birth has been exhausted, the holy life has been established, what had to be done has been done, and there will be no further return.’ This is called the realization of the supernatural power of the knowledge of the exhaustion of outflows.” Wei Xu Mobile divine eye? The divine eye: Generally speaking, Buddhism divides the universe into the three realms (the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm); the farther to the right one goes, the better the practitioner whose future rebirth destination it is. Among them, beings above the form realm have pure bodily constitutions (their bodies are no longer material bodies belonging to earthly humans); their eye faculties can perceive forms and colors at a distance and in detail, and can also see where beings in the six paths die and where they are reborn. This ability is called the “divine eye.” Wei Xu Mobile divine eye? The Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara, when practicing deeply the Prajñāpāramitā, clearly saw that the five aggregates are empty and crossed beyond all suffering and distress. Śāriputra, form is not different from emptiness; emptiness is not different from form. Form itself is emptiness; emptiness itself is form. Feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness are also like this. Śāriputra, all dharmas are characterized by emptiness: they are not born and do not perish, are not defiled and are not pure, do not increase and do not decrease. Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, no feeling, perception, mental formations, or consciousness; no eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no form, sound, smell, taste, touch, or dharmas; no eye realm, up to and including no mind-consciousness realm; no ignorance, and also no ending of ignorance; up to and including no old age and death, and also no ending of old age and death.
