1. The boss loves firing off broadside attacks, then says they weren’t aimed at anyone in particular.
2. The boss often goes back on their word and is extremely poor at assigning work. Tasks are frequently reassigned before they are completed, and then you are immediately scolded and told not to do that anymore and to work on something else.
3. The boss has an extremely poor attitude and even yells at government agencies.
“Shut up. I’m not interested in hearing what you have to say right now.”
“I’m not interested in hearing what you have to say right now. You can leave.”
4. When you confirm something with the boss, you may not get a correct answer—in fact, they may even say, “Whatever.” They often say, “Can’t you think for yourself? Is it really that difficult?” But after you decide how to proceed based on your own judgment, you may get yelled at again.
5. Even after duties have been assigned and you are carrying them out according to the schedule, the boss frequently changes the details arbitrarily, then shifts the blame to employees by asking how we could have not known about it.
6. The boss’s words are harsh and cutting, and they occasionally make personal attacks. Working with them is truly mentally exhausting.
7. The boss is always using break time for meetings or calling people out to take photos.
In short—in a nutshell—it’s just as everyone says: a small company that is extremely arrogant, petty, inefficient, and unpleasant to deal with. Whether you are applying for a full-time position or working as a part-time contractor for this company’s events, please don’t do it without thinking it through carefully.
If you have the ability to read minds, extremely strong psychological resilience, and can withstand the boss’s sarcastic remarks at any time and anywhere, then go ahead and submit your résumé!
