大瓏企業股份有限公司
Pros

1. You don’t have to work on make-up workdays, nor do you have to make up the workday.

2. Annual salary is standardized at 14 months + performance bonus (depends on the manager’s opinion and whether you have aligned yourself with the right people—commonly known as something you can see but never get to enjoy).

3. Three more days off than at ordinary companies, usually in mid-to-late July

Cons

Highly not recommended.

Managers often make empty promises to those below them while brushing them off and being perfunctory. Office politics are quite serious; many managers have already left the company because of infighting.

--> If you have a good relationship with your manager, everything goes smoothly. If you have a bad relationship with your manager, you will be blamed for problems that have nothing to do with you.

Here are some examples I witnessed firsthand:

1. The head of the IT department spends the entire workday either sleeping or playing on their phone. They only show favoritism toward attractive female colleagues; when male colleagues raise issues, they respond immediately on the surface, but privately they either pay little attention or ignore them altogether.

Female colleagues’ requests are handled immediately. The rest of the time, they frantically make empty promises to subordinates or managers. The computers also break down very easily, and outdated, shoddy computers are repeatedly reused, resulting in extremely poor work efficiency; they often crash or break. Whenever a female colleague files a complaint, they directly chew out the subordinate, often pressuring engineers who have been complained about by female colleagues in meeting rooms. You can also often hear them loudly berating people on the phone.

2. The HR department does not seem like an HR department either. As you pass by, you often hear them gossiping about other departments. They also like to form cliques, making the entire HR atmosphere very strange. They do not seem to be a force supporting employees from behind, but rather a force pushing them toward the abyss. They love idle chitchat. If the HR department dislikes you, congratulations: your contributions and performance may very well disappear, and your own manager may even summon you for a talk and place you under observation. Hahahahaha.

3. People in manufacturing and engineering who have nothing to do spend all day idle. Their computer screens are perpetually on auction or group-buying sites. The floor team leaders also scheme against one another and often form cliques behind the scenes, rallying people to discuss each other’s strengths and weaknesses.

There are far too many dark sides to finish describing.

Other than the sales department, this company is highly not recommended. Remember, both the boss and the CEO came from sales.

It is a temporary place for young people to gain experience, not somewhere to work long term.
