The colleagues are all pretty nice.
The list of grievances is endless.
If you are being assigned to the Mahachai plant in Thailand, please give up on reporting for duty; otherwise, you will definitely regret it.
The vice president and COO of the Mahachai plant in Thailand (who can be regarded as the top bosses in Thailand) have truly unreasonable personalities and management styles. They yell at people from time to time and even use abusive language. They also have the following extremely unreasonable rules (though the vice president himself considers them good discipline):
1. All newly hired foreign employees are forced to get up at 5:30 a.m. for a morning run. If you do not run, you must take leave with a valid reason; if you fail to request leave, an additional three days will be added each time.
2. All foreign employees are forced to get up at 7:30 a.m. to chant slogans and do morning exercises. If the slogans are not shouted loudly enough, you will be subjected to verbal humiliation (you will see Burmese, Indian, and Filipino colleagues shouting slogans such as “Mighty and majestic... brave and martial...” even though they have no idea what they mean. It is truly absurd.)
3. The BMI of every foreign colleague is required to be publicly disclosed, and colleagues with fuller figures are mocked (which is truly unacceptable...).
In addition, at the Mahachai plant, all Taiwanese employees other than the aforementioned vice president and COO are subordinate to Indian, Filipino, and Burmese managers. (To be honest, foreign colleagues in Thailand have no one to rely on; when they encounter situations like this, they can only swallow it or become people like the aforementioned vice president.)
Coming here will not only waste your life but also make you question your entire life. If you can save even one person, please do not report for duty. Thank you.
