Relations with colleagues are fairly harmonious
1. The department manager is a control freak who remotely (via LINE) controls employees every day, assigning them meaningless tasks. Every small task completed must be photographed and reported.
2. The manager remotely monitors the time of report submissions; if you are even slightly late, they call your mobile phone, affecting work efficiency.
3. Frequently holds meaningless meetings to portray themselves as capable, although colleagues all know the truth.
4. Whether you do something correctly or incorrectly, the department manager berates you until you begin to doubt your own abilities.
5. The department manager often assigns their own responsibilities to employees, such as preparing reports, doing the accounting, and creating work schedules. When something goes wrong, they invariably shift the blame and never reflect on themselves.
6. Constantly keeps a close watch on employees. You may even receive calls from the department manager during your time off or vacation, with each call lasting at least 20 minutes.
7. Frequently sows discord and fabricates stories, presenting white as black and wrong as right, causing colleagues to become suspicious of one another and act differently in public and private.
8. Flaunts their academic credentials, claiming that as a National Taiwan University graduate they can do everything, but in reality they are less capable than others—an example of the Peter principle.
9. There are serious problems with workplace management, yet they are treated as legitimate management practices. The Chi-Gu aquaculture department needs approximately four to five employees, but at least 20 people have left, and the manager always shifts the blame onto the employees.
10. Violates the Labor Standards Act. When an employee tries to raise an objection, the department manager begins workplace bullying, saying that this is simply how the aquaculture industry works and that if you keep an abacus hanging around your neck (being overly calculating) and keep the law on the tip of your tongue, you will never learn anything. They then begin targeting you privately and documenting every shortcoming.
