1. A place to gain life experience; it can keep you very busy because work responsibilities are poorly defined.
2. The office is very close to an MRT station.
3. Noisy children get the candy.
A company that has been operating for four years changes its top executive every year. The current executive has come in to take over for the third time. Reportedly, this is the worst executive in the group, retaining the position only because of their family connections. They have poor logic, do not keep their word, have poor emotional control, fail to separate public and private matters, do not care about employee performance, focus only on results, and often directly interfere with department employees. They shift the blame for their own bad decisions onto subordinates. When the generals are incompetent, the entire army suffers. There is intense infighting among senior executives, so do not go there to become a sacrificial victim. Turnover is high: more employees leave every year than are hired. It is the worst workplace.
The pay is also mediocre. Ordinary employees are offered only NT$27,000–35,000, with few benefits. The year-end bonus is less than NT$5,000. The bonuses for the three traditional holidays are NT$1,200 after the probationary period, and the Lunar New Year work-start bonus is NT$200. It is a sweatshop company, with quite a few labor-management disputes.
