A very formal invitation to the workplace (Taoyuan or Yangmei). Both HR and the hiring manager attended, the process was clearly explained, and the staff were friendly. You have to find parking yourself, but parking was still fairly easy.
When I first arrived at the factory, no one paid any attention to me. The people I asked were also unclear about what to do, but they did help ask around.
Some information seemed to be available from the résumé without having to interview, but they still asked about it. When I answered honestly, the manager felt I was unsuitable for the position, which made the process feel somewhat like a waste of time.
At the end, they said they would notify me whether there would be any follow-up, but I never received any notification—even after waiting so long that I had almost forgotten about it.
