Company internal situation: Wish merged with Siyan Technology (Beauty Boss) at the beginning of 2023. Before joining, you can first confirm which company’s products you will be responsible for.

Although the companies merged, they only sit together in the same office, and many things are still separate, such as work schedules, attendance systems, and management. Wish has approximately 40 employees, while Siyan has 10. The following is a work experience sharing from Siyan Technology (Beauty Boss).

1. The legendary “psychic” company: There is no training whatsoever. When new employees report for work, they are simply given a seat and told to self-study the system using PowerPoint. They say you can ask questions, but when you do, the answers are brief, or you are told to look it up online.

2. After being there for one month, I raised a question about an integration issue. My supervisor asked, “You still haven’t gotten familiar with it?” They did not give me an answer and told me to look it up online.

3. New sales staff receive no accompaniment on client visits, no sharing of sales techniques, and have to figure out how to introduce the system themselves. During meetings, management only requires you to arrange visits with a certain number of companies and sign a certain number of clients, but does not prioritize employee training.

4. The atmosphere is poor, and there is no sense of cohesion within the department. There are two senior sales employees, but there is not much interaction.

5. Basic procedures and policies are unclear. Even senior colleagues do not dare give a definitive answer and tell you to ask the supervisor. Sometimes the supervisor only explains half of what they mean, so you can only hope you manage to guess their intentions correctly.

6. When dealing with employees, they only seek to have the position filled and do not consider their feelings.
