Pros

I left my job last month, mainly because I wanted to change career paths.

I had actually been with this company for more than three years, primarily working in customer service both in the stores and in the back office. I learned a great deal about the philosophy of service, and I feel it benefited me significantly. After all, it is rare to find a company where the owner speaks directly with frontline employees.

The company has a very good reputation among distributors, customers, and designers, so the owner also wants to provide us with better benefits. In addition, there is a bonus system that allows us to review our own performance based on monthly results and work content. I really admired this aspect as well. (The companies I worked for previously did not have this kind of culture, so everyone simply focused on their own work and did not think about their colleagues.)

It can be quite busy at times, but the company absolutely does not shortchange its employees. All required overtime pay is provided in accordance with regulations. That is why I was a little puzzled to see other reviews saying that people worked overtime without receiving overtime pay. The key point is that during the interview, they clearly explain that the nature of this industry may occasionally require overtime (due to shipment volumes and traffic congestion).

Cons

Unlike large companies or organizations, there is no clearly defined promotion structure. However, considering that the company has fewer than 100 employees, it still cares about employees’ development and regularly reviews everyone’s contributions at work.

(I am someone who enjoys taking on many different roles, so I do not necessarily need a very comprehensive promotion system. As long as I can learn many different skills, that is enough for me. However, it ultimately depends on each person’s priorities and choices.)
