A bottle of sparkling water was provided to the job applicant.
The position I interviewed for was specifically an HR-related role.
During the interview, Dajiang's HR representative only asked me about my past work experience and asked me to share an impressive case. However, it was apparent that Dajiang's HR representative was very inexperienced. Not only were the questions and topics not explored in depth, but they also repeated questions I had already answered several times, seemingly without listening carefully. There was not even a senior manager present to conduct the interview with them, and in the end, the interview was hastily concluded after only half an hour.
Ah... I suddenly understood at the moment the interview ended. Although it was called a recruitment interview, in reality, perhaps they were building a talent pool or conducting a market salary survey. Perhaps they also wanted to raise the company's visibility. In conclusion, it was simply an interview that wasted the job applicant's time! They had no intention of hiring at all; they merely wanted to find job applicants to conduct market research, give their HR staff more interviewing experience, or promote the company.
Sure enough, three or four days after the interview ended, I received a notification that I had not passed the initial screening. (I believe it should not have been because of poor performance on my part, since I have 12–14 years of relevant work experience and have also held a management position. I should not have been unable even to meet the HR manager.)
On this company's job bank page, there are five or six similar HR positions alone. So, does this company fail to recruit HR personnel over the long term? That seems unlikely! Is it fun to treat job applicants like fools and deceive them?
After the interview ended, my favorable impression of this company dropped below zero... because it took advantage of job applicants' desire to find a job and wasted their time.
Just take a look at the job postings on 104 and you'll understand: there are more than a hundred positions that are always being advertised. It is not because they cannot find suitable candidates; this company simply posts openings to raise its visibility and for various other reasons, but perhaps has no intention of hiring~~~ If you have extra time and want to fill out questionnaires or practice interviewing, give it a try! But it may be better not to have overly high hopes!
