Pros

1. The water dispenser has hot water

2. There is toilet paper in the restroom

3. The office has air conditioning

4. The cleaning lady is very polite

Cons

1. The boss is a chain-smoking fanatic and doesn't care whether employees like or can tolerate the smell of smoke. Every time he discusses things or holds meetings with employees in the office or company meeting room, he smokes while talking. He also smokes very heavily. Please think carefully—only join if you can accept this.

2. The woman in accounting and finance is very scheming, deep-minded, and two-faced. When she is in a good mood, she smiles and laughs with you; when she gets upset, she stabs you in the back and speaks harshly and sarcastically. It is truly a firsthand experience of how treacherous the workplace can be. Everyone is here to work; being “very senior” does not mean you can avoid respecting others...

3. The division of responsibilities is extremely unclear. You have to handle a bunch of miscellaneous tasks that are not part of your job. Put nicely, they call it helping each other and sharing the workload; in reality, even graphic designers have to come down and pack and ship orders. In the evenings, you also routinely have to work overtime—about 2–3 days a week—to accompany the boss during livestreams until 9 or 10 p.m., use several company devices beside him to shout out bids with “+1,” drive up auction prices, and do all kinds of miscellaneous tasks without any pay raise...

4. The turnover rate is extremely high, and there are countless trivial and complicated tasks. The division of responsibilities is unclear, and the company does not properly allocate work or appropriately simplify redundant and unnecessary procedures. The company’s newly hired administrative staff, assistants, and new livestream hosts also only stay for a few days before everyone leaves. Within just one month, four employees left one after another. Someone comes for an interview every few days. What do you think of this kind of workplace environment and culture?

5. The monthly inventory-counting hell. If you are responsible for taking over the warehouse, you will have to spend an entire day each month counting nearly 500–600 items in stock. This does not include items with incorrectly attached product-number labels or inventory discrepancies that need to be located and reconciled. In reality, completing a full inventory count of the warehouse takes at least two days. It is genuinely maddening and stressful every month.
