For the first time among all the startups I’ve worked at, I feel that this company has absolutely no systems or flexibility. No matter what changes you want to make, nothing can be done. The company’s overall structure is extremely chaotic—so chaotic that you can only memorize all the logic by rote, and much of it isn’t even the kind of logic a normal system should have. The company’s system was written by the engineering department itself, but it is full of loopholes; every fix only makes it worse. The bugs can never be completely fixed: even after they’re fixed, they reappear after a while, or changing one area causes old problems to recur elsewhere. You’ll be busy acting as the bug-squashing team all day long.

Internally, because no one is in charge of overseeing matters big and small, you could say the company is in complete chaos. Many people who should be doing their jobs no longer do them. If you want to coast every day, freeload, or draw a salary without doing any real work, you’ll fit in extremely well at this company. The managers do nothing and simply wait to collect their paychecks; otherwise, they spend all day shirking responsibility. People who lack a sense of responsibility really shouldn’t become managers.

Ever since the Hong Kong employees took over the company, there has been no improvement at all. It seems to be regressing to the explosively chaotic early startup days. They even want to change the salary system for service staff, which I honestly find completely baffling. Customer complaints keep piling up. After salaries had finally been paid more regularly over the past year or two, service staff are now frequently paid late. I think this company’s financial situation is already in trouble, sigh... I strongly advise everyone not to join this company; otherwise, after you join, you may not even receive your salary.
