A company with quite a lot of flexibility in various areas, including clock-in times and break times.
If you want to get hands-on with many strange and unusual things, this is actually a pretty good place.
Most of the work is relatively easy.
1. They come up with all kinds of excuses to force employees to work overtime across departments, with managers leading the way and looking down on colleagues who do not work overtime.
2. The fact that there is no overtime pay is outrageous enough, but there have even been cases where new hires were deceived into believing that they could not report overtime during their first three months of employment.
3. The more women there are in a department, the more drama there tends to be. Quite a few people spend their energy forming cliques instead of testing.
4. When evaluation time comes, some more unscrupulous second- and third-level managers will find reasons to deny your contributions, attempting to brainwash you into thinking that you already have it good enough and should not ask for more.
5. At the end of the year, the CEO starts saying that there is no money and tells everyone that they must weather the storm together.
6. In Nantou, some strange lower-level managers and older female employees with assistant-manager titles will frame people they dislike with fabricated accusations. Even when people from different departments have almost no interaction, they may still be singled out for all kinds of inexplicable reasons.
They have even discussed on Facebook who to target next; after screenshots were taken, they switched to discussing it on LINE.
7. The company has a rule prohibiting discussions of salary, which is used as a tool to harm people.
As long as someone with ulterior motives brings something up, it becomes treated as fact. Afterward, you will be taken to a meeting room and told about it as if they had witnessed it firsthand, then pressured to admit to the accusations they have made. If you are framed and lose the upper hand from the beginning, you will be forced to sign.
8. At the year-end banquet, they spend the welfare committee’s money to hire bands made up of clients’ children to perform.
9. Most people can interact and deal with one another in good faith, except for managers. The higher their position, the more calculating they are. They act friendly merely to find out whether you might be a potential threat or to identify your weaknesses and exploit them.
