Almost every month, there is a monthly meeting requiring everyone (all personnel from the north, central, and south) to arrive at the Taipei headquarters at 8 a.m. on a holiday. Each department must report its progress and review its achievement rate to the chairperson. However, the company does not provide transportation reimbursement or overtime pay, nor does it offer substitute time off. In addition, the company does not promote job openings in the south. The southern office’s administrative assistant, who is very intent on letting her unemployed boyfriend come to the office so they can spend time together as a couple, does everything she can to ostracize others and use underhanded tactics (for example, deliberately tampering with your business quotations), all so that she can get you to leave and create an opening for her boyfriend to join.
In addition, the company’s benefits have been shrinking year by year.
