The interviewer was quite polite.
The HR department has absolutely no idea about market salary levels. The salary is far below the industry standard, and when they make the offer, they even have a sense of superiority.
Please—you’re offering a very low salary, okay? Find out the market rates before making an offer.
Please publish your salary ranges online. Don’t waste people’s time by asking them to come for interviews.
I thought applying to a department that wasn’t mentioned in the previous reviews would help me avoid the pitfalls, but it turns out the other departments are just as terrible—terrible, terrible, terrible.
