Having worked in telemarketing for several years myself, I feel that the instructors here are actually among the best and most dedicated teachers I’ve encountered. My thoughts are very scattered, and I often ask many strange questions, but the instructors really do their utmost to explain things until I understand. There are lots of notes in class. It’s not the kind of exaggerated situation where they teach you two points but expect you to know ten. After more than a month of classes, you really do miss the happy times in the classroom. Supervisors also show concern for new employees, although everyone is genuinely very busy and may not have time to help you deal with problems.
There are really a lot of calls, and customers often start cursing as soon as they pick up. Although the calls are for booking bank activities, the questions are numerous and very miscellaneous. Problems may not be handled immediately, so you need to have strong emotional resilience. Sometimes, there doesn’t seem to be a standard SOP for handling problems.
