The company atmosphere is relaxed, managers don't interfere much, and no one supervises the work.
1. The Taiwanese company has no HR, accounting, or IT departments, so managers tell each department to handle related administrative tasks themselves.
2. Managers do not do their own work and delegate it to subordinates, without giving them a raise or changing their job title, calling it “developing you” and a “responsibility-based system.”
3. Don't expect promotions or raises, and you might as well assume there will be no year-end bonus. Make sure to negotiate your monthly salary when you join, or you will be disappointed.
4. The company completely disregards talent development: when position A is short-staffed, someone from B is pulled in; when B is short-staffed, someone from C is pulled in. Professional expertise is not valued—it feels like plugging holes wherever needed.
5. Not recommended for a long-term stay; employee turnover is high after about a year.
