Rather than listing advantages, I’ll explain why I chose to work at Rafael.
The biggest reason is that I feel the salary I’m offered is higher than what I could get elsewhere.
At the clinic I worked at before, one person was often expected to do the work of three. At Rafael, one person is assigned to one position, and the workload isn’t as heavy as it was at my previous clinic.
Another reason is the working hours. At my previous clinic, there was a seniority system: senior staff had to choose their days off first before newer staff could choose theirs. At Rafael, the person responsible for scheduling tries their best to coordinate everyone’s schedules, so I feel well taken care of.
I’m still getting familiar with the work, so it currently feels relatively high-pressure. That may also be because I’m eager to get up to speed as quickly as possible.
