Sometimes supervisors treat us to drinks
The Yunlin plant was not a very good place to work in quality control. There were many miscellaneous and complicated tasks, the pace was very fast, and everything was urgent—everything was treated as an urgent matter. There was gossip and people making reports behind others’ backs, and many cliques. Management was done via LINE. Some supervisors were emotional and could easily lose control. Some colleagues also had serious issues; some engaged in verbal bullying and formed cliques. Some people wanted to gain attention and bad-mouthed other colleagues—two-faced people. Some had very extreme views and insisted on winning every argument. They were narrow-minded, liked to pretend to be nice in public, made sarcastic remarks, loved comparing themselves to others, and were combative—the kind of people who were frightening. There were many people with unusual personalities. I do not recommend it.
