Reasonably respectful toward interviewees

I was a recent graduate participating in a campus recruitment event. The company's interview process consisted of two rounds; the second was said to be an interview with the CEO. At first, I thought it would be a huge waste of time, and it really was ==

The CEO asked exactly the same questions as the junior manager in the first interview. The only difference was that, at the end, the CEO asked in a somewhat aggressive and rude tone, as if they expected me to answer that I was "definitely going to show up for work."

They also did not clearly explain the salary. I thought HR would discuss the finalized salary and benefits with me after the second interview, but they didn't. They directly sent me an offer letter with none of that information and said I had to reply confirming that I would definitely show up for work before they would tell me my salary and benefits??

How am I supposed to consider the offer when I don't know anything? I replied and told them they should at least provide the basic information so I could compare it with my other offers, right? Then they sent an HR representative who couldn't explain things clearly and had no position of their own, only relaying messages, to give me a bunch of nonsense about why they couldn't let me know the salary and benefits. I replied with my position, and she immediately said she would provide the information later. It felt like they had initially counted on a student not arguing back. They clearly didn't expect me to raise an objection, and HR immediately backed down. I have no idea what they were doing—extremely unprofessional.
