Right at the beginning, the supervisor interrupted my self-introduction. Throughout the interview, their body language showed impatience, and they even belittled my educational and professional background.
No matter what questions I answered, I was attacked and shot down.
The entire interview made me very uncomfortable⋯
In the end, they said they wanted someone with experience and also said I hadn’t done my homework.
I was completely dumbfounded. If that was the case, hadn’t they looked at my résumé beforehand? If they knew I had no experience, why invite me to an interview?
They asked me what I thought of the position and what challenges I might encounter.
After I answered, they didn’t say I was wrong, but started going around in circles,
repeatedly telling me that this wasn’t some glamorous job,
and trying in every way to discourage me. What kind of job is considered a glamorous job anyway?
Is this position about eating, drinking, prostitution, and gambling all day?
During the interview, they directly told me I wasn’t suitable, then hurriedly ended the interview.
They even added that they had many applicants and wanted to take their time reviewing them.
This is the first time I’ve encountered someone like this—what a nightmare.
I’ve never been workplace-bullied before even getting in the door.
With such a low salary structure, being able to have this attitude too—I sincerely wish you the best ☺️
