Pros

You get paid just for showing up to work

Cons

There is absolutely no break time during the entire shift at the store.

If customers are still there at closing time, you cannot leave, and there is no overtime pay.

You have to work on holidays, and on Saturdays and Sundays you have to work an extra hour, still with no break time. By the end of the third month, the base salary becomes $21,000 plus bonuses.

However, this violates the Labor Standards Act. The total working hours are too long, the base salary is below the legal minimum, there are no breaks, and there is no overtime pay—it is a place that exploits its workers.

Also, do not expect too much from the performance bonuses, because you will not receive a bonus until the products have been delivered. Even if the customer has already paid, if the products are still being made, delivery may be delayed for one to two months. It is also possible that the customer's new home is not yet ready, meaning delivery may have to wait six months. Therefore, you would probably have to achieve (NT$800,000–1,000,000 × 2%) in sales every month for several consecutive months, in addition to the NT$21,000 base salary, before your pay becomes somewhat normal. But honestly, I think it would be faster to find a job paying NT$30,000–40,000 directly. Otherwise, you are just helping the owner build their empire, with no other benefits.
