Pros

1. Most of the colleagues are pretty nice.

2. As long as you have thick enough skin, you can leave immediately when work hours end.

3. The job basically does not require much professional knowledge.

Cons

A lot.

1. It is a contract-based employment system, so the employee turnover rate is extremely high. The efficiency of teamwork depends on the planning ability of the project manager. Unfortunately, I encountered a manager with poor abilities: after a colleague resigned, the work was handed over to the manager, but the manager did not hand it over properly and instead blamed subordinates, asking why we did not know how to do it. However, more than half of the subordinates, including me, had been employed for less than half a year, and the work items were different anyway.

2. Every month, we have to pay around NT$100 in welfare fees, but the only real benefit is a meal gathering once every three months. Participation is basically mandatory; only veteran employees have the right to decline. The meal subsidy is only about NT$200.

3. There are often situations requiring business trips on holidays or at night. Only compensatory leave is provided, with no overtime pay. Some colleagues’ compensatory-leave hours have even been reduced by the system, so they have to keep track of their remaining hours themselves.

4. The environment at one of the central Taiwan branch offices is poor. Cockroaches and rats sometimes appear outside at night, many miscellaneous items are piled up, and the restroom has very poor soundproofing.

5. Based on the requirement to work overtime and go on business trips irregularly, and even run outside errands during working hours, the salary for regular employees is really not much—it feels like doing charitable work.

6. Most benefits are only available on a prorated basis after completing three months of employment (for example, the NT$200 meal subsidy). For the year-end banquet, it seems that employees who have not been employed for a certain period cannot participate in the lucky draw. Similarly, the employee trip is subsidized only for employees who have been employed for a certain length of time; otherwise, they must pay the full cost themselves. In addition, employees from each branch have to drive themselves to the destination, as the company does not arrange an itinerary.

In short, the benefits are not very good, the work is complicated, and the salary is average. Overtime and outside work are often required. If you want to do charitable work, I really recommend this place.
