泰安產物保險股份有限公司
Pros

1. Colleagues at the branch are easy to get along with; that's the only reason I stayed.

2. The benefits are all there. As for the year-end bonus, just don't compare it with those of other companies in the industry—the more you compare, the more depressing it gets.

3. At the branch where I work, as long as you deliver results, your supervisor won't micromanage you, so your schedule is somewhat flexible.

4. You can develop strong skills in handling customer situations and communication (because the company's conditions will drive you crazy).

Cons

1. If you compared the company to a person, it would be a middle-aged or elderly person seeking stability! Its product terms are always one step behind the market, and its market visibility is low. You'd never guess it's Taiwan's first property insurance company. ^^

2. Internal communication is inefficient. Sales, underwriting, and claims each do their own thing; don't expect too much mutual assistance.

3. Underwriting information is outdated. I always learn about government-promoted laws and regulations from other companies first. In addition, the non-auto insurance division is slow to provide quotes, so you need immense patience and strong customer-handling skills.

4. The company bought a new building in Taipei and keeps bragging about it every so often—how annoying! The office environments at the other branches are terrible (cramped spaces and dim lighting). Why not improve those first? Also, replacing all the chairs across Taiwan was ridiculous = = Do they think sales staff sit all day? They could at least replace the monitors. The company's monitors are probably products from 10 years ago; staring at such small screens for long periods is making my eyes go blind!!!!

5. I feel that supervisors are hostile toward colleagues who leave for competitors. Please~~~ reflect on your own company first!!!!

6. Claims depend on who you are; fend for yourself.

7. One last point: if the chairman isn't replaced, this company will stay like this—just look at how many general managers it has gone through in three years. ^^
