1. The employees are young, gentle, and polite.
2. Colleagues get along harmoniously, and the atmosphere is relaxed.
3. The shopping mall office area is small, so there is no pressure from having a large office or senior managers around.
4. The workplace is located in a shopping mall, making it convenient and easy to buy things nearby.
1. Employee turnover in the shopping mall department is very high; even relatively senior employees have less than a year of experience.
2. There is a rotating shift system every other week, including holiday shifts, so normally only one person is on duty (this is also related to difficulties in finding enough staff).
3. Staff are scarce and colleagues have limited experience. Senior managers cannot provide sufficient oversight and may be unable to handle everything, so some matters are not explained completely. As a result, less experienced colleagues are often unsure about the procedures and training progress when training newcomers.
*If the company wants employees to get up to speed quickly, it should take the training and education of new employees seriously rather than merely treating it as a formality. For example, training for head-office personnel is not held until more than two weeks after employees join.
4. The job involves a large volume of messages and emails. Every day, employees must submit a work log to report to the senior manager and give a work report at a daily meeting. Basically, the more senior manager is not present.
5. The salary range should be taken with a grain of salt; usually, the actual salary is the lowest figure listed. Only after passing all evaluations—which also takes more than a year and is intended to retain employees—is there a chance of getting close to the upper limit.
