1. The benefits package is considered one of the better ones among pharmacies.
2. Flexible scheduling. It is said to be arranged according to nurses’ scheduling preferences, with morning shifts, 10 a.m. shifts, 11 a.m. shifts, and so on.
3. After approximately one month of training, you will be scheduled to work alone (working an evening or morning shift by yourself).
4. The environment is simple and bright. If you happen to have good coworkers or a good store manager, everyone will help one another.
1. Having a store manager who is not good at teaching can make the job feel like hell. There is a lot of administrative work, and if you have never used a POS system before, it will take some time to become proficient. However, they will only teach you once and will not allow you to make mistakes the next time. They also do not consider that this is completely new to a newcomer; you may only partially understand it the first time you hear it and need to be taught multiple times. In previous jobs, people would also repeatedly remind newcomers, but 杏一 is extremely poor at training new employees.
2. There is a great deal of administrative work, and it is very tedious. It basically takes six months of learning before you can truly understand everything you are doing. If the store manager is not good at teaching, it will take even longer to figure things out on your own. One coworker once had to work despite being unfamiliar with the 指寄 system (because it was only taught once), but failed to print the invoice and put it inside the product, and was berated by the store manager, who said that their intelligence was a problem.
3. The mental pressure can be very high. They like to make snide remarks about newcomers behind their backs, engage in personal attacks, and pass around baseless gossip to seriously hurt newcomers who work hard but have not yet become proficient.
4. Because you are a rookie, your schedule usually will not consist of the shifts you prefer. Staffing is generally very tight.
5. There is an assessment after three months. If the store manager only teaches each thing once, reviewing everything requires a great deal of effort.
6. I think it can be a kind of training for newcomers, but I really dislike how they describe themselves as a happy environment. They do not realize that they are the ones who love gossiping the most. The supervisors, including several coworkers around me, engage in infighting and scheming. It is truly difficult to encounter genuinely good people. If you are easily affected by other people, I suggest that you do not join. I had been working since I was 18, and this was the first place where I experienced bullying.
