邁其利德股份有限公司
Pros

1. Colleagues are all very easy to get along with

2. Salaries are stable and never delayed

3. Severance pay is provided upon dismissal

4. They don’t dare violate the Labor Standards Act

Cons

1. You can’t clock in exactly on the hour, otherwise you’ll be considered late. They use this point to continually demand that employees arrive at the company early. Even when there is no unexcused absence, taking leave—annual leave, personal leave, occupational injury leave, or sick leave—will later be used as a reason to dismiss employees.

2. The warehouse inventory is always inaccurate. They do not manage product quantities at all when taking orders or shipping. There are hundreds of different products, yet every time employees have to count them manually and then report them to the Taipei office. It is extremely inefficient.

3. There is no meal subsidy; you have to pay for your own meals. The meal allowance listed on the payslip is fake. The originally agreed salary—for example, NT$30,000—is not NT$30,000 plus a meal allowance; rather, it is calculated as NT$30,000 including the meal allowance.

4. There are no employee trips. I worked there for more than three years and there wasn’t even one, either domestic or overseas. If you take annual leave to travel abroad, you may be dismissed.

5. The company has neither an annual banquet nor a spring banquet, yet it gives employees gift items from another company’s annual banquet. Great.

6. At other companies, the year-end bonus is one month’s salary; at this company, it is one-third of a month. Really great.

7. After finishing all the shipping orders for the day, you can’t look like you have nothing to do. You have to pretend to be busy and put on an act; otherwise, you’ll be called lazy.

8. Even if you stay for a long time, you won’t get promoted; you’ll only be replaced by an arrogant parachuted hire.

9. Looking forward to this company’s future development. I heard that the parachuted manager plans to replace a group of the original employees. Impressive.

10. Employees’ continued employment or departure depends entirely on the boss’s mood. Wonderful.

11. Working hours can be changed whenever they want. Very flexible—what a bonus.

12. They like to find useless little trinkets to sell at extremely high prices, so they never sell well in the end and become trash stockpiled in the warehouse.

13. The warehouse is unbearably hot in summer and unbearably cold in winter, with lots of mosquitoes and fleas.

14. They love dismissing people yet often say they can’t find anyone. Once they find someone, they dismiss another person, so they are perpetually understaffed in an endless cycle. They also like asking employees to recruit friends and relatives, but then can’t afford to hire them and have to reduce working hours.

15. The boss says the company’s products have night-market prices and department-store quality. In reality, they have night-market quality and department-store prices.

By the way, the newly hired manager said the company office is very small~ and the warehouse is like a ruin~ Please improve things properly. Don’t let people who have worked for Japanese companies look down on you, you fake Japanese-style company.
