The boss’s temper is stubbornly unchanged, and he has driven away a bunch of capable people. In fact, the biggest problem with this company is the boss himself. He refuses to acknowledge that he is getting old, the products being developed are already outdated, and he also disrespects professional expertise. Whenever he gets upset, all he does is yell. When the company is short-staffed, he refuses to hire replacements and only pressures the people who remain to take on the burden. If you don’t have the money to hire people and don’t want to fill the vacancies, then have the guts to just drop the matter outright.

Before working for this company, make sure to ask whether you’ll report directly to the boss. If you won’t, it may be okay; if you will, absolutely do not come. Be careful not to have things thrown at you.
