生麗國際股份有限公司
Pros

No particular advantages

It simply complies with the basic requirements of Taiwan's Labor Standards Act

But there are many places where it exploits loopholes

Cons

It is just a typical traditional Taiwanese family business, taken over by the second generation. The owner's sons and daughters have no experience or ability to run a company, nor any work experience.

During the video interview, the daughter would not turn on her camera to interview you, which was extremely rude and showed no interview etiquette whatsoever.

The salary range listed on 104 was not what they offered you; they offered a salary below the listed range and then said they would adjust it after three months. However, even after the adjustment, it still did not match the salary originally discussed. The performance bonus listed on 104 has reportedly never been received by colleagues who have worked there for years.

The company is continuing to operate by using resources left behind by the former owner 20 years ago. The systems and equipment are extremely old and worn out, and the work processes for employees are highly inhumane, making work very difficult and inefficient. When numerous improvement proposals were raised, the bosses simply ignored them and were unwilling to invest any money or effort in changing the work processes. The bosses know nothing and have no understanding whatsoever of what frontline employees actually do. It is very easy for a single policy from management to leave all the employees exhausted, while the bosses believe that we are idle and have nothing to do.

The lucky draw mentioned on 104 is a draw held together with 5,000 direct-selling distributors. Company employees have no separate year-end banquet, and colleagues who have worked there for years have never won a prize. During the year-end banquet, back-office staff still have to work and eat very unappetizing boxed meals. The company does not provide water, so you have to bring your own.

The daughter always pretends to be very open-minded, saying that any problems can be communicated and discussed with her. I once saw a colleague raise a question about the company's future direction, which made her feel that the employee was testing her and caused her to lose face and feel hurt. That employee was then labeled a problem employee by the company, and after that, no one raised questions anymore.

There are no standards whatsoever for the year-end performance review; the scores are simply based on the bosses' moods. Because they do not understand your job duties, they rate your performance based on their impression of you. The company's performance grows year after year, but your year-end bonus may actually decrease instead of increase.

Good luck to everyone considering working here.
