The interview process was pleasant, and we discussed my résumé and background. The interviewer gave a thorough introduction to the company structure and departmental operations, and at the end asked me to summarize and briefly describe it again.

Internal information was not communicated effectively, and the interview time kept being changed. First, the interviewer was diagnosed with COVID; then the interviewer had a meeting. In the end, it seemed that the interviewer did not know the scheduled time because of poor communication between the interviewer and HR.

I had already received an offer from another company and, with the New Year approaching, needed to respond to the other offer. Therefore, I explained the situation to the interviewer during the interview and hoped to learn the outcome so I could make further arrangements. The interviewer directly gave me a verbal offer and said that HR would contact me again. In the end, I only received a rejection letter from HR.

!!! Do not believe what the interviewer says until you have received the OFFER LETTER!!!
